Join the Gruffalo as he and the Deputy Mayor switch on Rainham Christmas lights at 5pm.

Family entertainment starts from 3.45pm with Heart’s James Hemming.

There’ll be:

• Choir singing
• Competitions and prizes
• Dance groups and majorettes
• Guest appearances at intervals by The Gruffalo.
