About this event

Every Saturday in the lead-up to Christmas there’s entertainment for everyone to enjoy. There’ll be things to marvel at in the Pentagon Shopping Centre and along Chatham High Street.

Saturday 19 November

Christmas parade

Join Santa and Mrs Claus in our magical Christmas parade with real reindeer.

You’ll also get to see:

  • the world’s loudest town crier, Parade Marshal Alan Myatt
  • Mr Crump and Bluey the Clown
  • spectacular performances from our cheerleaders and stilt walkers
  • reindeer from the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre
  • Elfie the elf on the shelf.

Saturday 26 November

Granny Turismo

Midday to 3pm, Chatham High Street

Watch the Grannies go wild on their motorised shopping trolleys.

Anton the juggler

Shows: 11.30am, 1pm and 3pm

One of Britain’s top juggling acts, Anton has travelled the world demonstrating his skill. See him in Chatham this Christmas. A performance not to be missed.


Saturday 3 December

Sunny the clown as Mr Twizzle

Midday to 3pm

Watch as this Christmas Clown balances on a giant ball through Chatham.

Slack Rope Act by George Orange

Midday and 2.30pm

Watch in amazement at this skillful and thrilling performance that takes a contemporary look at a traditional circus skill.

Saturday 10 December

Motorised reindeer

Midday and 3pm

Christmas goes futuristic with the world’s first electric reindeer.

Titan the Robot

Midday and 2.30pm

Drama and hilarity are guaranteed with the return of Titan.

Saturday 17 December

Bernie Bennet

Midday and 3pm

Be there for when Santa arrives carrying a sack of goodies plus an oversized naughty elf on his back.

The Black Eagles

Midday and 2.30pm

Come and watch the spectacular acrobatics from this top troupe of Tanzanian gymnasts.

Train

The High Street is a five minute walk from Chatham train station. Frequent services run direct from other areas of Medway and London. Check South Eastern's website for more information.

There are many local buses that will drop you at Chatham's waterfront bus station, which is next to the High Street and Pentagon shopping centre. Visit our bus services page for more information.

Car parking
