Explore Rochester by taking part in our free mystery trail.

Seek out various illustrations from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Look out for Scrooge, Tiny Tim, Marley’s chain and many more items made famous by this great book.

Grab your very own map from either the Guildhall Museum, Visitor Information Centre or Rochester Community Hub, and see if you can find all the items from A Christmas Carol that are hidden in shops, libraries and attractions around Rochester High Street.

Train

The high street is just a two minute walk from Rochester’s new train station. Frequent services run direct from London. Check South Eastern's website for more information.

Car parking

There are a number of pay and display car parks in walking distance.

Disabled access

Disabled toilets

Disabled toilets are available in the Castle Gardens, Northgate, Rochester Community Hub (Changing Places toilet) and in the Corn Exchange.

Disabled parking

All of Medway Council’s car parks in Rochester also disabled parking for blue badge holders.
