Thinking of fostering
Foster carers provide a home for children from a range of backgrounds who can no longer live with their birth family. They offer a warm and caring home for children and young people and help them to move into a happy, stable future.
Pre-assessment questions:
- Are you 21 years or older?
- Do you have a spare room?
- Are you willing to share your time?
- Do you live in Medway or within a 20 mile radius?
- Are you a British Citizen or have indefinite leave to remain in the UK?
If you answered yes to all these questions, then you are eligible to foster.
You can also foster if you are:
- Married, single or in a relationship
- Any gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, religion or culture.

- We provide unrivalled training and support
- We work with agencies to meet the complex needs of children with: family support, therapy, educational provision for learning difficulties and support moving from care into independent living
